KNOW YOUR SKIN TYPE: NORMAL SKIN

The skin is forever changing, depending on the state of health, diet, climate, age and emotions.

The basic skin types are: normal, combination, oily, dry and sensitive.

Normal Skin

A healthy, normal skin is supple, velvety smooth with a fine texture. It is blemish free with no flaky dead-cells, and is usually found only in the 18-26 age group.

Internal Treatment

Increase these foods into your diet – brewers yeast, bran, carrots, sprouts, green and red peppers, goats milk, kefir, kombucha, oatmeal, oranges, lemons, pumpkin, parsley, whole grain bread and cereal, rose hips, water cress. Add olive oil to diet and increase purified water and herbal teas to daily diet. Add spirulina as a natural vitamin and mineral food supplement.

External Treatment

Foods: Almond meal, apple cider vinegar, brewers yeast, butter milk, cream, egg, kefir, kombucha, honey, kelp, oats, sour cream., spirulina. Fruit and vegetables: Apricots, avocado, banana, papaya, peach, pear, melons, carrot, celery, cucumber, lettuce, potato.

Herbs: Aloe-vera, borage, clover, calendula, comfrey root, dandelion, elder flower, fennel, lavender, lemongrass, mint, nettle, rosemary, violet. Essential oils: Carrot seed, chamomile, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, lavender, neroli, orange, patchouli, palma rosa, rose, rosewood, sandalwood, ylang ylang.

Infused oils: Borage, calendula, carrot, evening primrose, rosehip.

Cold pressed oils: Almond, apricot, avocado, grape seed, jojoba, olive, soya bean, sesame, sunflower, safflower, wheatgerm.
